ClimbCheck is designed to be used without creating an account. We do not ask for personal information to use the calculator, and performance inputs are used to provide the calculator experience.

Information you enter

Airport identifiers, pasted METAR text, weather values, field elevation, runway length, and baseline takeoff distance are aviation-planning inputs and are not intended to identify you personally.

Cookies, advertising, and external services

ClimbCheck may use browser storage for preferences such as Night mode. If advertising is enabled, third-party advertising vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies. METAR lookup requests may contact public aviation weather data sources through the site’s server-side endpoint.
